Have you
ever had someone make assumptions about you?
Assumptions that put you in a box that isolates, restricts and attempts
to define you?
I despise
boxes…. And labels…. And limits…

Ken Blanchard says there are 3 steps to creating change - Impacting knowledge, then attitude, then behavior. My understanding of his concept is this:

Several
years ago I heard a great analogy about a truck that was driving on a narrow
mountain road and got stuck trying to enter a tunnel. The truck could not move forward or backward. Experts tried for hours to figure out what to
do. Finally a small child asked, “Why
don’t you take the air out of the tires?”
That simple solution worked.

Grandfather was a WWII Battle of the Bulge Veteran and although his nature was
to accept whatever life handed him and to move on, the memories of the
brokenness & devastation that the war created left a shadow of questions
that haunted him.
